Polaris Power and Data Ltd was formed in
1989 and has worked since then for clients in a variety of business
sectors, industry, government - both local and central, health
authorities, schools and both private and publicly-owned housing, as well as heritage sites
and buildings.
We have recently completed the complete refurbishment of the
Cafeteria in Ladbroke Grove, the private room and bar at Smiths
of Smithfield, the lighting scheme at the Museum of Childhood
as highlighted in "Heritage" magazine and ongoing installations
at the D.T.I.
Our latest project is the new data network installation including
the PA system for a leading law firm, and our involvement in
the electrical installation at BP Solar on their energy efficiency
programme. We have conducted new works for a large London based
car park firm.
Polaris also carries out total electrical installations in large
domestic houses in the West
End, including lighting, telephone systems and data installations.
We believe that the expertise and experience
that we can offer is strengthened by our extensive knowledge of

We are NICEIC Registered (National
Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting)
as well as LAN Connect 5E Category 5E approved installers. We
became ISO 9000 accredited in 1999.
We pride ourselves on attention to detail
and always strive to maintain a high standard of quality. our
directly employed workforce have a code of conduct to follow whilst
on clients' premises, and this covers dress code, consumption
of food, smoking, security and awareness of customers' needs.
We do not subcontract any of the works
unless agreed as part of a project plan. Our engineers will be
on site from start to finish of any project. We meet all warranty
requirements by manufacturers of equipment by employing their
commissioning engineers to attend site and verify their systems,
standard practice for all large projects.
Project Implementation/management
Large and complex project installations
require detailed planning and strict management to ensure that
the the final installation adheres to the initial design and is
completed within the allotted project timescale. Close co-operation
between the contractor and the customer is essential to ensure
smooth implementation.
Regular project meetings are arranged to
discuss progress and to provide an opportunity for all concerned
to clarify any issues and to schedule additions or changes to
a programme of works.

Polaris Power and Data Ltd puts the safety
of its engineers and its customers and their employees above every
other business consideration. We carry substantial employee, public
and product liability insurance and strictly adhere to all relevant
Health & Safety Legislation and regulations.
Our engineers have all signed our employees
Code of Practice / Health and Safety manual, which is available
to our clients if required.
